This is a really fascinating article...Hi Rebecca,<br /><br /> This is a really fascinating article. It's of particular interest to me because it implicates hippocampal disfunction in burnout. The hippocampus is one of two areas in the adult brain that is capable of neurogensis, and is heavily involved in consolidating short-term memory into long term memory. In Alzheimer's disease, the hippocampus is one of the most highly impacted areas of the brain.
